How to Make Vata Balancing Tea with Ginger & Cardamom

This tea is warming & nourishing for Vata individuals, perfect for a cold Vata stomach. The pungency of ginger stimulates circulation of the blood and warms up Vata digestion. 


  • 2 pinches of cardamom
  • 1/4 inch (or 1 cm) ginger (fresh)
  • a lime wedge
  • 1/4 tea spoon of raw sugar

Steep 3-5 minutes in 1 cup of hot water. 

Note: To preserve vitamin C, add lemon when the tea is about 50-60 degrees Celsius.
